Why Does Jimmy Carter So Love Dictators And Terrorists?

That's the question that BullDogPundit examines. Whether it's Kim Jong Il or Fidel Castro or Hugo Chavez or the death-cult of Hamas, this ex-President keeps showing up like the proverbial turd in the punchbowl. And it always has the effect of undermining the nation he once took an oath to defend.

When will someone in the Democrat party have a "Sister Souljah moment" and call out Carter for what he is - a friend to America's enemies? Could it be because the base of the Democrat party today shares the same beliefs as Carter? How sad is it that a Democrat wanting to be President can't stand up to the lunacy of Jimmy Carter for fear of alienating the party faithful? I think that in and of itself explains why the American people don't trust Democrats on national security.
A well-researched and well-written post, it needs to be read in full.

1 You asked a good question, and one that's bothered me for a good while. Why do so many high-visibility people, such as little J. Carter, have such a problem with the United States' success and her security? I think the answer has to do with the effort over the past 40 years to feminize maleness. Play pretty, don't hurt anyone's feelings, political correctness, etc. To get the approval of a desired female in the parallel univers of the lefties, the male must become sensitive and self-loathing. Otherwise he will become a threat and must be thrust out of the nest into the harsh world of competition and merit-based reward. The shame of his own success requires that he, in his dottage or in his ascendancy, become a stalwart believer and an evangelist for others in the "I hate Myself" movement. I can't be happy just hating myself, you see, YOU must hate yourself too. National security, progress, improvement all be damned. What this little bird needs is to be warmed and protected in the feathered nest that his idol has provided. His balls are in her purse, thank you very much. The rest of us are heathens and unable to understand the expanded frontier of the new world. Godalmighty damn. I have made a rant. Now I need bourbon. Good bourbon and a rare steak.
