"Peace Activists" attack cop...

Matthew at Fresh Tasty Ideas links this photo of a police officer who got his head bashed in by the supposed peace-loving yahoos protesting the G8 summit. You know, the left-wing douche bags dressed as clowns. The story is also carried by Michelle Malkin and Ace, but Matthew's commentary is noteworthy:

"If the one assaulted was a homosexual at a gay rights parade in San Francisco, you can bet your *%# that picture would be plastered all over the NY Times front page, talked about nonstop on ABC news, and the inspiration for some knee-jerk, feel good legislation on Capitol Hill."

Unfortunately, most of the folks in the MSM probably grew up calling police officers "pigs". So why should they care if one gets beat up?
