The Silence Speaks Volumes

So apparently the historical election in Iraq doesn't warrant an editorial in the NY Times or the WaPo. Pathetic.

Generally speaking, the Liberal side of the blogosphere is pretty quiet as well.

But Decision '08 has a round-up of the Top Ten Kos Kidz' reactions. One of my favorites:

"This is just theater. All completely meaningless, and woe to the suckers who buy into this BS."
Bitterness. It's all-consuming, isn't it?

1 Why should we expect any different from the Left? If we said the sky was blue, they'd argue that it was green. That's how childish they all are.

2 Yes, but, as I recall, we weren't too gentle with the Clintons, either. It's hardball - or, more accurately, war. An ugly business.

3 Apples and Oranges, Doc. As I recall we weren't fighting a global war on terror back then. Yes, we had troops in Kosovo, but success or failure there didn't have a direct bearing on our own national security. The stakes today are unbelievably high to be playing bullshit politics while 150,000 of our troops are completing a mission. And just for the record, I was a Democrat back then. I'm quite familiar the political slings and arrows fired at Bubba at the time.
