Connect the dots...

Gee, do you think this story: "Bush Honesty Rating Drops To Lowest Point" has anything to do with this story: "Network Coverage Of Bush Mostly Negative"?

And BTW, here's the "scientific" methodology used in that poll:

"The survey...was conducted from July 8-11 among 1,009 adults, and...has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points"
Once again, the sample is simply "adults", not registered voters that you can weigh according to party affiliation. And probably not people who are paying very much attention to current events beyond what they get from the evening news (how many of them can actually name the Vice-President?). In fact, I'd like to know just how many of those contacted are - demographically and geographically speaking - people likely to support the President in any event. The article is strangely silent on these details.

Why does the MSM continue to gin up bogus polls to try and show the "unpopularity" of a President who is NOT running for re-election?

One reason only: to try to undermine his credibility both here at home and abroad.

Well here's a newsflash to the MSM: George W. Bush could give a shit about these polls. He's probably laughing out loud about them in the Oval Office while he does exactly what he campaigned on and what the MAJORITY of U.S. voters elected him to do.

Unlike certain ex-President's who will argue the meaning of the word "is", Bush doesn't wet his finger and stick it in the air to see which way the wind is blowing.

He's a leader and the Bush-hating media will never understand that.
