Bolton to be U.N. rep the minute the Senate adjourns...

Though White House spokesman Scott McClellan is pulling a Sgt. Schultz, inside sources say that the announcement of a recess appointment of John Bolton as the U.S. representative to the United Nations will come moments after Senators get out of Dodge for the August recess.
Congressional aides said a recess appointment could be announced as early as Friday night, immediately after the Senate is scheduled to adjourn for the monthlong August break. A recess appointment would allow Bolton to take up the U.N. post but he would serve only until January 2007.
Good. Now let's get a posse together and go give Kofi Anan an atomic wedgie!
