Will the Kid be ready?

Nineteen days to go until Week One v. the Cardinals and Big Blue is biting their nails over the status of Eli Manning. In their 27-21 pre-season over the Superbowl-contending Carolina Panthers, the Giants QB suffered a sprained right elbow.

While listed as "week to week", Manning will not play this weekend v. the Jets. Fine with me. I hate preseason because of injury potential in meaningless games.

But will number 10 start in less than three weeks when the NFL season kicks off? If not, I will be a very cranky blogger.
