We have out first contender for the 80's Crush Championship: Morgan Fairchild. After heavy voting, she was able to hold off a challenge from Lea Thompson despite an official endorsement of the dimpled beauty by the Llamas. Congrats to Lea for her strong showing since the Divisional Round.

Next up, we have Elisabeth Shue facing off against Lynda Carter. Voting will remain open through 12 noon on Monday and the winner will advance to the Championship match-up.

Looks like Lisa Shue ran away with this one. Now the seeds are set for the Final Four round:

First up, is the Fairchild/Thompson match-up. Voting will remain open through 12 noon on Friday and the Shue/Carter match-up will then run through the weekend until Monday.

Once set, the winners of each will square off against each other for the Championship, which will run through next Friday. That afternoon, the overall winner will be declared and on Saturday April 29th I'll post a "tribute" to that lucky lady complete with new images. Let the voting begin!

We have our first "upset" of the Tournament with Lea Thompson beating out higher-ranked seed Jaclyn Smith to advance to the Final Four.

There is one spot remaining for the finals and that match-up is Erin Gray against Elisabeth Shue (a personal favorite of Llama Steve-O). Voting remains open through 12 noon on Wednesday, at which time we will move to the Finals round. Hey, something has to tide me over until NFL Draft weekend.

It looked very much like Lynda Carter was going to run away with this one but by last night the Kim Basinger fans showed up in droves, putting her ahead. However, at the last minute, Lynda squeaked back into the lead. Having garnered 54.6% of the total vote, she will now advances to the Final Four.

The next match-up is Jaclyn Smith versus Lea Thompson. Voting remains open through the Easter weekend until 12 noon on Monday.

Well, despite trailing since Monday afternoon, Morgan Fairchild's vote count experienced a Derek Jeter-like last minute surge to overtake Courtney Thorne-Smith in the semi-final round match-up. Morgan advances to the Final Four.

The new match-up pits "Wonder Woman" Lynda Carter against Kim Basinger. Voting remains open until approximately 12 noon on Friday.

Just a note on the rules for this semi-final round. In the event of a tie, the winner will be the higher-ranked seed. As of 9:30am, the current "battle of the blondes" death struggle between Courtney Thorne-Smith and Morgan Fairchild is dead even.

Voting is open until noon. If at that time they are still tied, the higher-ranking seed - Morgan Fairchild - will advance to the Final Four.

The winner of the "Melrose Place" Division is Courtney Thorne-Smith with 63.6% of the vote. Courtney will now advance to the Semi-Final round against Morgan Fairchild.

In the meantime, the new poll is up for the Vicki Vale Division. This division was so-named because Sean Young was the first actress cast to play this role in the 1989 film "Batman" but an on-set injury led to Kim Basinger being hired as her replacement.
