I want to express my heartfelt thanks to Phin and Sadie of Apothegm Designs for the great job they did with the redesign.

After I switched to a new domain and Movable Type, I looked around at several site designers. Not only did I really like Apothegm's portfolio, but their philosophy of client collaboration and customization impressed me. And they did not disappoint.

Sadie's patience and guidance was a major factor in creating a layout, design and functionality that I'm really pleased with. She was really open to my input and honest enough to give me the benefit of her perspective when something didn't quite work. They even imported my old Blogger archives to the new site - something I was really dreading doing myself. It was a terrific experience for me. And I always felt that the success of this project was as important to them as it was to me.

If you're in the market to for a new look - look no further.

Ex-Donkey is a happy camper. :-)

Something's going kaflooey with Site Meter this morning. Thought is was just me at first, but I checked around on some other sites and they've all had their hit counts cut off at some point in the morning. Hey, can't really complain as this is the first time I remember this happening in over seven months.

Anybody know what the scoop is?

Stomach bug or possibly (dum, dum...DUM!!!) food poisoning. I've had that before and it seems all too familiar. Hopefully a good night's sleep and a bucket of NyQuil will do the trick.

Feeling better today. Still not 100%, but whatever it is it's subsiding. Thanks for the tip, Vic. Flat Coke has always been a part of my medicinal regimen! Works great for hangovers, too.
