Suffice to say that all day yesterday I was without internet access and then I went out to see "King Kong" (review to be posted shortly). And then almost all of today I was offline as well.

But I'm back.

Greetings folks! Snow Miser here to give you a friendly reminder that Winter's coming! And you know what that means - SNOW.

And boy, if you people in the northeast just look out your window, you'll find a nice heaping helping of this white wintery goodness! Hope you have your snow tires on! I'm just sitting up her in my ice palace, giggling my ass off at you clowns trying to drive through this mess.

It always brings a smile to face to see some prick recklessly cutting off another car because he thinks he's invincible in his beat-up little Chevy Geo. Whoops! I see somebody whose insurance premiums are gonna go through the roof!

Ha! It's like they say, I'm "too much"! What a wonderful time of year. I'm going to be sprinkling misery on you poor bastards for the next three to four months...just because I get off on it! And there isn't a damn thing you can do about it. Who's your Daddy, now? Huh?

1 High of 45 and sunny here in The Southland. Was miserable the past couple of days, but no snow here! Which is why I live here!

2 Here in southern New Jersey it went from frozen rain to snow (two inches in an hour and a half) back to frozen rain and then just stopped and the temperature rose a bit. On the other side of Philly they got creamed with some parts of the Pocono's getting a foot. That storm packed a wallop and dropped it all in a short time. Damn, I miss living in San Diego.

Just making the rounds on some of my favorite sites before I chug a mug of NyQuil and head to bed, and every website that's got "blogspot" in its URL is coming back "404 Error".

When I got the chance to switch servers, I jumped. No, I bungee-jumped at the chance. For crying out loud this is prime surfing time!

And every google hit I get that leads back to my old blogger site is going get nil, nada, nothing.

Blogger Sucks!!!!

Well, thankfully my Giants won a hard-fought game today. I would be elated if I weren't so miserably sick.

Just crashed on the couch and watched "Scrooge" on AMC. For me, this 1951 version starring Alastair Sim is the best one ever made. The casting is perfect and it includes many scenes from past, present & future that are often left out.

My personal favorite version of the story, however, is Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol. I've just loved it since I was a kid and the original songs are really catchy. And the Bill Murray "Scrooged" is a really enjoyable update of the tale.

Anyway, since I may not be posting until well into tomorrow - consider this an open thread to promote YOUR favorite version of A Christmas Carol".
