I'm in the process of revising and updating my original posts on Tolkien Geek as I re-read the books. So far I've gotten through both Book One and Book Two of "The Fellowship of the Ring".

First there were Asians on the Plane...now watch as "Asians" run over San Francisco...

SAN FRANCISCO -- As many as 14 people were injured this afternoon by a motorist who drove around San Francisco running them down before he was arrested, authorities said.

Seven of those injured were in critical condition, police and firefighters said.

Authorities have identified the man who was arrested as Omeed Aziz Popal, who has addresses in Ceres (Stanislaus County) and Fremont.

Authorities said they believe Popal was the same driver who ran over and killed a 55-year-old man walking in a bicycle lane in Fremont, at Fremont Boulevard near Ferry Lane, just after noon. That crash scene is just blocks from Popal's Fremont address, where he had most recently been living.

Popal was arrested at a Walgreens at Spruce and California streets.

Long time readers of this blog know I maintain another site called "Tolkien Geek", where I went through and blogged "The Lord Of The Rings" chapter by chapter. The process was a long and arduous one, but one I found worthwhile.

I'm currently in the process of re-reading the books and revising and extending many of my posts. So for those of you are are interested in reading the updates or checking it out for the first time, be sure to go have a look.

Busy day preparing for a birthday party at the house. Maybe I'll check out "Ice Age 2" this afternoon with the kids. Will have to arm wrestle the wife to see who gets to go.

April showers are getting on my nerves. Mets are off to a hot start!
